Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience required, Thai restaurant preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Understanding of safety and health procedures.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ready to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills to handle customer payment and make change, as applicable.
• Ability to work in standing position for extended periods of time.
• Safely lift, bend, carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and observe guest dining experience to anticipate their needs and ensure their satisfaction
• Remove guest dinnerware, replenish utensils, refill water glasses, and respond to other customer needs
• Extensive working knowledge of the menu and ingredients to assist guests in food and beverage selections as well as address concerns related to food preparation or dietary needs
• Food allergies, food sensitivities or other special customer requests must be clearly communicated with kitchen
• Working knowledge of table and seat numbers as well as position points to ensure accurate dish presentation
• Enter orders accurately into POS
• Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
• Ensure dining areas are clean prior to the start of service and maintain cleanliness throughout service
• Process customer payment accurately
• Maintain a neat appearance and clean service areas
