New Braunfels Chamber seeks qualified middle/high school English Language Arts teachers to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences aligned to the district curriculum. The role supports intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth and emphasizes TEA guidelines.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements, and ESL certification within one year for MS ELA; ESL certification is preferred for other MS teachers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• ESL Certification within one year for Middle School English Language Arts; ESL certification preferred for other MS teachers.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan instructional activities using appropriate resources and technology.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings.
