Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Alabama Teaching Certificate.

• Valid Alabama Driver's License.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses student abilities toward desired goals.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Plans age-appropriate class activities and presentations to meet diverse needs.
• Maintains standards of student behavior conducive to learning.
• Communicates instructional expectations and progress to students and parents.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records and related matters.
• Participates in school-level planning and meetings.
• Adheres to the Alabama Educator Code of Ethics.
• Coaches or sponsors athletics/extra-curricular activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
