Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to serve students across multiple campuses. The role involves providing school-based PT services, consultation, and collaboration with teachers and staff to support mobility and participation in education.

The ideal candidate holds an IL IDFPR PT license and ISBE PEL, with pediatric or school-based experience preferred. A strong emphasis on communication and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois IDFPR Physical Therapy license.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) through ISBE.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an anticipated caseload of ~45 students across multiple campuses.
• Provide school-based physical therapy services at several campuses.
• Support students with broad physical, motor, and mobility needs in general and special education.
• Deliver direct therapy to improve access, functional mobility, and participation in education.
• Provide consultation to teachers and related service providers.
• Develop accommodations and strategies for student independence and accessibility.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute PT-related recommendations.
• Maintain timely documentation and monitor progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated, student-centered care.
