Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital in Virginia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Observation Unit on a part-time day shift (Mon–Fri, with some weekends), 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

This RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop plans of care, and coordinate care for cardiac, neurological, medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications

• Education requirements: BSN preferred, ADN with BSN within 5 years.
• 1 year nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Licensed or eligible for Virginia RN license.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data.
• Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Delivers patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Advocates for patients' rights and coordinates transitions.
• Documents patient care activities per standards and supports team.
