Job summary

Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District is seeking a Program Aide to support general recreation programs and day trips. You will supervise participants, help transport them in a program vehicle, and assist with a variety of activities to foster a safe and enjoyable environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Requires valid Driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
• Work may be indoors and outdoors; exposure to weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging supervision for participants in recreation programs and day trips.
• Safely transport participants in a program vehicle.
• Facilitate activities such as swimming, sports, arts & crafts, field trips.
• Maintain communication with participants, families, and staff about activities and concerns.
