Job summary

Global Widget is seeking a Receiving Associate in Tampa, FL to handle receiving, stock processing, and order fulfillment. You will pick, pack, and ship, using forklifts and hand trucks as needed, while maintaining inventory accuracy and safe, efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires physical work, attention to detail, and experience with warehouse software and barcode scanners. A high school diploma is needed and the position is on-site in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced role requiring climbing, bending/kneeling, reaching overhead, lifting, and walking.
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting goods.
• Proficiency in inventory software and barcode scanners, plus good organizational and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position.
• Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick and fill orders from stock and pack for shipment.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare shipments.
• Coordinate with facilities to maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain accurate carton counts and packaging quality.
• Assist in loading trucks and placing items on delivery pallets.
