Rajal J Patel DDS PA in Orange, NJ is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You will support the dentist chairside, prepare and sterilize equipment, and help ensure a smooth patient experience in a friendly, patient-centered environment.

You will work with a dedicated team, handle radiographs, patient histories, and post-treatment instructions while upholding strict infection control and high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Active RDA certification/licensure in New Jersey is required.
• Experience with chairside assisting in a dental office is preferred.
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs (X-ray certification a plus).
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments and infection control protocols.
• Strong communication and a warm, patient-centered chairside manner are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients.
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed.
• Record patient medical histories and document treatment notes accurately.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices.
• Manage dental materials, supplies, and equipment inventory.
• Support front office staff with scheduling and patient communication as needed.
