Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in New Jersey. The role offers exposure to orthopedic and sports-related injuries with mentorship and growth opportunities within a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic.

The PTA will collaborate with therapists, document patient notes, and coordinate with chiropractors and other providers to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant License is required.
• New grads and experienced PTAs welcome.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and timely to support collaborative care.
• Pursue clinic advancement through CEUs and ongoing education.
• Attend monthly and company-wide meetings to address challenges and improve clinic flow.
