Millennium Therapy seeks a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing setting in Charles City, IA. The PTA will work under supervising therapists to screen residents, collect data, and deliver direct treatment across a caseload of residents.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree in PTA from an APTA accredited program and licensure in the hire state or eligible for licensure in other regulating states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident screens and collect assessment data under the supervision of the licensed PT.
• Participate in the clinical team process and contribute to program development.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff and families as per the plan of care.
• Collect assessment data as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist during evaluations.
• Prepare treatment materials and assist with clerical duties as directed by the supervising therapist.
