Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Knoxville, TN is seeking a production operator to perform day-to-day floor tasks, packaging, batch making, and line preparation. You will work under supervision, ensure materials and equipment are ready, and maintain accurate logs.

Responsibilities include operating PLC/PC interfaces, loading materials with a forklift, and following GMPs and SOPs. Previous production experience and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related production experience.
• Experience with food, chemical, or drug manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Understands Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience operating a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Computer skills and data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production floor under supervision to meet requirements.
• Perform packaging and batch making functions for the line.
• Monitor operations and material availability.
• Record batch logs and related documentation per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to GMPs and SOPs and maintain a clean, safe plant.
