Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Attorney in probate and/or commercial litigation.
• Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar.
• Proven track record managing complex business law cases from start to finish.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-task management.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on probate and commercial litigation for the business.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings, draft documents, and negotiate on behalf of the company.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including witness interviews, research, pleadings, discovery, and court appearances.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to meet legal needs of the business.
• Stay updated with changes in business law and advise on impact.
• Perform due diligence in contracts, agreements, and mergers/acquisitions.
• Provide training on legal topics and promote compliance and risk management.
