Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will provide patient-centered physical therapy using approved modalities and treatments to help patients achieve independence.

Minimum education is an Associate degree from PTA program with Georgia licensure or compact privileges. BLS certification is required. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration with the therapy team in a rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia PTA license or GA compact privileges.
• BLS certification through AHA.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care, using modalities and techniques in the plan of care.
• Demonstrates skills and accuracy in performing tests and measurements as appropriate.
• Assists with measuring quality and outcomes.
• Maintains clear communication with the patient, PT and others about progress and home programs.
