Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review previous medical information and gather updated health information.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications under Provider direction.
• Develop individual patient plans of care as part of the care team.
• Perform front desk duties including scheduling and documentation.
• Record data accurately in medical records.
• Process test results and provide timely updates to patients.
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
