LCMC Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant for its PRN Float Pool in Louisiana. You will support multiple outpatient clinics, assist with check-in, vital signs, and rooming, and help coordinate appointments and follow-ups.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required, or two years of work experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.

• Ability to adapt to multiple outpatient clinics and fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients, assist with check-in, rooming, and clinic visits to ensure a positive experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs, recognize abnormal findings, and communicate concerns to the clinical team.
• Assist providers and nursing staff with patient care activities and daily clinic operations.
• Coordinate patient appointments, follow-up visits, and transitions across the patient experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and protect patient confidentiality.
