Qualifications

• PhD in a discipline appropriate for the physics department.
• Current academic rank of tenured full professor (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent record of program, people, time, and financial management.
• Outstanding record of research, mentoring, and teaching.
• Commitment to collaboration, innovation, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the physics department.
• Foster research excellence across experimental, computational, and theoretical physics.
• Oversee personnel, budget, and academic programs.
