Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association.
• Florida PTA license (FL) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Supervises PTA students and support personnel.
• Designs and implements a plan of care aligned with identified issues and required treatment frequency.
• Assists with discharge planning from therapy services.
• Educates patients and families about treatment plans and progress.
