Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation in the Henderson community. You will work closely with patients to implement treatment plans and assist in recovery journeys, under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.

This role involves documenting progress, communicating with the healthcare team, and reinforcing therapeutic exercises. Texas PTA licensure is required, with at least 1 year of PTA experience preferred, in settings such as

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year PTA experience.
• Valid Texas PTA License required.
• Experience in acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of treatment plans as designed by licensed Physical Therapists.
• Support patient mobility and rehabilitation efforts using necessary equipment and modalities.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively within the healthcare team.
