Qualifications

• Must hold a current unencumbered MA license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited school with an associate's degree in physical therapy.
• Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides Physical Therapy plans and modalities under the on-site supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicates effectively with residents with visual, speech, auditory, cognitive, physical and emotional impairments.
• Trains, supervises and disciplines subordinate staff as needed.
• Assists in planning, organizing and implementing department goals and policies.
• Documents resident progress toward Physical Therapy goals.
• Completes daily activity schedules and progress notes as directed.
