Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of PT Aide Competency Evaluation and job training.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of PT Aide experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide specific treatments under the Staff Physical Therapist's direction.
• Maintain patient records, evaluations, handouts, invoicing, and billing records.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to staff and other personnel as appropriate.
• Order, stock, and maintain adaptive equipment.
• Transport patients to appointments and ensure safety.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas; document revisions per policy.
