Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will greet patients, help prepare for treatments, and assist with administrative and clinical duties in line with state practice act requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and/or intern preferred.
• Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to clearly document projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management required.
• Patient/Client satisfaction: providing care/service that exceeds expectations.
• Energetic and a team player.
• Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
• Complete tasks thoroughly.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists.
• Safeguards, motivates and assists patients during exercises and activities.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens, folds and maintains linen cabinets.
• Maintains restrooms and other areas and restocks supplies.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling, and filing papers.
• Keeps track of non-medical and medical supplies and may order inventory.
