Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (IDFPR) required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transfers with safe body mechanics.
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Perform examinations using validated methods relevant to chief complaint/history.
• Document in accordance with CTSCP67 and regulatory standards.
• Supervise PTA and rehab technicians as appropriate and provide feedback.
