Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah is seeking a licensed physical therapist to deliver and supervise PT services within a collaborative, patient-centered team. The position may require coverage at both Ballard and Issaquah clinics, including pediatric/adolescent orthopedic cases as needed.

You will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans of care, and actively reassess progress while participating in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions of care.

Qualifications

Description

The physical therapist (PT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of physical therapy services. The PT performs evaluations and develops individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implements the plans of care and reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, significant others and the patient. Provision of care for pediatric adolescent orthopedic patients may be required. Coverage of both inpatient and outpatient services may be required at the Ballard and Issaquah clinics. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.
