Cayuga Health is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. The role involves clinical decision-making, comprehensive chart review, and creating person-centered care plans using evidence-based practice.

Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional development. The position requires completion of an accredited PT program (BS, MS, or DPT), a current NYS PT license, CPR certification, and annual safety trainings.

Formación

• Education: Accredited physical therapy program; may be Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate level
• Licensure: Current NYS Physical Therapy license
• Certification: Current CPR Certification
• Continual Training: yearly mandatory safety trainings and e-learning

Responsabilidades

• Completes comprehensive chart review to determine PT appropriateness
• Chooses appropriate exam and integrates findings into a plan of care
• Uses evidence-based practice to guide decisions and therapy intensity
• Assesses response to intervention and adjusts interventions accordingly
• Discharge planning and documentation to support clinical decisions
