Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physical Therapist (PRN) to evaluate, plan, and implement rehabilitation protocols for patients, and discharge planning to maximize function. You will document thoroughly, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team.

This PRN role emphasizes ongoing professional development and adherence to regulatory guidelines while delivering high-quality patient care within our facilities.

Qualifications

• MUST have Masters or Bachelors degree plus 2 years of work experience beyond minimum.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of clinical experience in physical therapy preferred.
• BLS certification/CPR required at hire or within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patients; adjusts therapy goals.
• Performs clinical documentation and billing with accuracy.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and care team.
• Supervises students and volunteers as assigned.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
