Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join MHPT @ Rosedale Neuro. You will evaluate, plan, implement, and reassess physical therapy care across settings, with emphasis on patient and family involvement and evidence-based protocols.

You will document, discharge, and contribute to program planning while supporting team goals. The role requires Maryland/DC/VA licensure as applicable, BLS certification, and a commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your location(s).
• American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent historical information and reports results.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation.
• Completes discharge planning and accurate documentation of care.
• Manages scheduling, productivity, and maintains professional access to care.
• Mentors staff and students and supports continuing education.
