Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to plan and conduct segments of treatment programs, restoring and improving physical, social and mental functions. You will serve as a co‑leader in interdisciplinary patient groups and drive quality patient care.

Eligibility includes a DPT (or foreign equivalent) and CA licensure as well as CPR/BLS. At least two years of PT experience is preferred, with opportunity to supervise assistants within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• DPT required; only if license obtained on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Must hold Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• CPR or BLS certification from AH-approved vendor required.
• BLS certification from AH policy required.

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides therapy interventions using approved protocols and communicates discharge plans.
• Completes clinical documentation within deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants and performs other duties as assigned.
