Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
• Associates degree, PTA program accreditation.
• Current CPR certification and AED training.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective therapy under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Progress patient plans of care established by the PT.
• Document treatments and progress notes accurately.
• Communicate with supervising PT on treatment plans and discharge decisions.
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and clinical staff as needed.
• Engage in community screening and outreach activities as appropriate.
