Athletico is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide safe, effective therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT. This role emphasizes high-quality patient care and utilizes Generative AI documentation to stay fully present with patients.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Associates degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR certification and AED training.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and service.
• Progress patient’s plan of care established by the physical therapist.
• Communicate with physicians via progress notes and discharge summaries after consulting with supervising PT.
• Coordinate treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and potential discharge with supervising PT.
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and administrative staff as needed.
• Engage in community services such as health fairs, in-services, events, and screenings.
• Complete daily documentation in patient charts (SOAP notes, discharge summaries, etc.).
