Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed or licensure eligible by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current CPR Certification if required by clinic or practice area.
• New graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• One year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy care to assigned patient population and document care in the medical record.
• Supervise Rehab Technicians, students, and volunteers as assigned.
• Provide instruction to OT/PT support staff and other disciplines; participate in rounds and discharge conferences.
• Share in weekend and holiday schedule and adapt hours based on patient population and clinic needs.
