Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking an Elementary-Middle-High School Classroom Teacher to implement curriculum, plan lessons, and assess students in a multi-level setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with student teaching experience and/or
• Three (3) years of verified contracted teaching experience with a Bachelor's Degree and the ability to obtain a valid teaching license in Nevada
• Knowledge of child development, behavior and characteristics of students and subject area; effective teaching skills

Responsibilities

• Planning and Preparation: Designs coherent instruction and aligns assessments with CCSS.
• Classroom Environment: Creates a respectful, space-efficient, resource-rich learning environment.
• Instruction: Communicates expectations, engages students and uses various questioning techniques.
