Job summary

Wisconsin Athletic Club seeks a Certified Personal Trainer to motivate and coach members, set goals, provide feedback, and hold clients accountable. You will teach classes, offer complimentary guidance, and help maintain equipment with a strong member-first attitude.

As a front-line representative, you will connect with members, schedule sessions, and participate in programs and events to promote fitness experiences and retention. A proctored certification is required before employment.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates hold an NCCA accredited Personal Training Certification.
• Candidates with a related degree have 3 months to obtain a Personal Training Certification.
• Commonly accepted credentials include NASM, ACE, NCCPT, NCSF, ACSM and NSCA.

Responsibilities

• Display a member-first attitude and interact regularly with clients.
• Conduct personal training sessions according to WAC standards; confirm appointments.
• Assist in teaching classes and provide complimentary advice to members.
• Keep fitness equipment clean and well-maintained; ensure safe conditions.
• Schedule sessions accurately in the member relations system; support payroll.
• Promote programs and events; participate in community initiatives; support retention.
