Position Summary

Personal Trainers are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention
• Monitor and instruct clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment
• Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening, Medical History, Lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting
• Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation
• Fulfills member service requirements such as assessments, equipment operation, and cleaning
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services
• Complete administrative tasks related to clients' fitness plans
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends
• Ensure members feel competent and connected through excellent customer service
• Document all aspects of client programming
• Maintain current credentials and pursue continuing education

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of personal training experience
• Certified Personal Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and program design
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or related field
