Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject-specific field required.
• Valid, active Ohio Teaching License, Certificate, or Permit for the specific subject area and assigned grade band.
• Background checks (FBI and BCI) required.

Responsibilities

• Align daily instruction with Ohio Learning Standards, NGSS or National Standards.
• Develop measurable, clear student learning goals with high expectations.
• Establish and implement a Professional Growth Plan (OTES 2.0).
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using district curriculum and resources.
• Use varied strategies, hands-on labs, and technology to foster thinking and creativity.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and collaborate with support staff.
