Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years anchoring or reporting for broadcast media.
Excellent writing skills and ability to edit sounds and interviews.
On-air delivery and contemporary sound required.
4-year degree in journalism preferred.

Responsibilities

Produce and record news segments for radio.
Gather, write, record, edit, and deliver news content, including live coverage.
Interview newsmakers and write/ad-lib scripts.
Update and utilize station social media platforms.
Develop and research potential news stories.
Anchor multi-hour news shifts on a news-talk station.
Deliver traffic reports for multiple stations.
Protect the station’s FCC license.
Make station appearances as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
