Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mass Comm or related field or 18 graduate credit hours in Mass Comm or related field.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing and spelling competency.
• Experience with various computer software applications.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses at assigned days and times.
• Plan lessons using division curriculum that address learning outcomes.
• Use technology to enhance instruction and assessment.
• Design, administer and grade assessments to measure student learning.
• Submit final grades as required.
• Maintain accurate grading in Learning Management System.
• Maintain attendance records in university systems.
• Set up and use Learning Management System sites for assigned courses.
• Administer a final exam on the day/time scheduled by the university.
• Gather and submit course assignments for documentation.
