• Experience working chair side in a dental office or clinic.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellence in instruction through innovative methods in the Dental Assisting Program.
• Identify and meet student learning needs and promote skills attainment.
• Teach courses, develop curricula, and assess student learning outcomes.
• Advise students and participate in program recruitment and retention activities.
• Collaborate with department and college committees and councils.
• Engage with the Dental Assisting Advisory Committee regularly.
• Maintain professional development and current practices in dental assisting.
