Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time faculty member for the Ithaca College PA Program. The role involves collaborating with the Program Director to design and deliver curricula, assess students, and contribute to program outcomes.

The candidate will have NCAA PA certification with NYS license eligibility, or an advanced degree with NYSED qualifications. Prior clinical teaching is preferred; strong communication and leadership in PA education are essential.

Qualifications

• NCAA PA certification with NYS license eligibility.
• If not NCCPA certified, must hold a master's, doctorate, MD or DO to meet NYSED requirements for master's level teaching.
• Clinical precepting or teaching experience in an accredited PA program or medical school is strongly preferred.
• Clinicians new to academia are encouraged to apply and will have mentoring and faculty development opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and communicate with diverse students, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Program Director to ensure cohesiveness of the didactic curriculum.
• Design curricula aligned with program goals and learning outcomes.
• Generate and deliver classroom learning experiences and clinical skills instruction.
• Assess students and provide remediation per policy.
• Participate in program data gathering and implement action plans from analysis.
