Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Teacher certificate at the appropriate level for assignment OR ACP and required prerequisites passed.
• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach the District curriculum with standards-based, measurable lessons and accelerated learning goals.
• Monitor student progress and adapt materials for differentiated instruction.
• Develop units and enrichments for collaboration, creativity, and project-based learning.
• Assess student mastery using multiple tools and record progress accurately.
• Conduct standardized testing and manage test data securely.
• Maintain attendance records, grade reports, and student files.
• Use effective discipline and classroom management to maximize learning time.
• Monitor behavior outside class and engage families in student progress.
• Participate in curriculum development, committees, and professional development.
• Attend school events and perform duties as assigned.
