Job summary

Sysco is seeking an outside Sales professional to promote our products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts in the assigned territory. You will work to help customers succeed while meeting sales and profit goals, with some non-traditional hours as needed.

The role offers a base salary plus bonus, car allowance, mileage reimbursement (CA), cell phone, and a robust benefits package including 401(k) with matching and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline or equivalent relatable experience.
• HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts within assigned territory to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and participate in events and meetings.
• Manage deliveries and order process issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
