Stanbridge University in Orange County, CA is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Instructor to join our OTA program. This role delivers classroom theory and hands-on laboratory instruction in Fundamentals and Adult Physical Disabilities, preparing students for entry into occupational therapy practice.

The ideal candidate is a licensed OT (OTR/L) or a Certified OTA (COTA/L) with recent direct patient care experience in adult rehab.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Current California licensure as an OT or OTA, as appropriate.
• Minimum three years of related practical work experience.
• Clinical experience in adult physical disabilities or rehab.
• Ability to deliver effective classroom and laboratory instruction.
• On-site availability Wednesdays 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
• Meets ACOTE, ACCSC, and institutional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and lab instruction aligned with course objectives.
• Teach fundamentals and adult disabilities concepts with real-world cases.
• Demonstrate and supervise therapeutic techniques and ADLs.
• Assess student knowledge and competencies through exams and lab demos.
• Provide timely feedback and support student development.
• Follow syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessments.
• Collaborate with program leadership to maintain curriculum quality.
• Maintain professional currency through clinical practice and CE.
