Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or a closely related discipline.
• Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L).
• Minimum three years of related practical work experience in adult physical disabilities or rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical background in adult physical rehabilitation and related areas.
• Ability to deliver effective classroom and laboratory instruction using instructional technology and LMS.
• On-site availability required on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Must meet ACOTE, ACCSC, and institutional faculty qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom theory and hands-on laboratory instruction.
• Teach fundamentals of occupational therapy and adult physical disabilities.
• Demonstrate and supervise therapeutic techniques, mobility, ADLs, and adaptive equipment.
• Assess student knowledge and performance with assignments, labs, and exams.
• Provide timely feedback and support student learning and development.
• Follow syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment requirements.
• Collaborate with program leadership to maintain curriculum quality.
• Maintain professional currency through practice, CE, and licensure.
