Job summary

Smile Studio Orthodontics is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. This full-time role focuses on chairside assisting, patient education, and delivering fast-paced, high-quality orthodontic care.

We offer competitive pay of $18–$25 per hour, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, company-paid STD/LTD, and a 401(k) with up to 4% company match.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (preferred).
• RDA or CDA certification (preferred).
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed).
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.

Skills

Experience with dental/orthodontic

RDA or CDA certification (preferred)
