Incredible Health in Jackson, MI is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to join our busy surgical teams. The role provides direct patient care before, during, and after procedures, with opportunities across day and night shifts.

Qualifications include ADN or higher, active RN license, and OR experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. The hospital offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment within a level 2 trauma center.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years of OR or surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
