Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room for a nursing job in Commerce Township, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR Circulator experience required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares the patient for discharge.
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities.
