Qualifications

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn their condition and review referrals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observation and patient history.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic techniques to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track progress toward goals.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services based on referrals and results.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other providers.
• Communicate progress, barriers, and plans with the health team.
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
• Document all regulatory information in the EHR and maintain records.
• Participate in trainings and in-services.
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants and aides.
• Adhere to policies and code of conduct.
• Maintain Active State Licensure.
