The School of Nursing at Northeastern University Charlotte invites applications for full-time clinical faculty positions (Assistant/Associate/Clinical Professor) based at our Charlotte, NC campus. Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD, or related doctorate) in nursing or a related field by appointment start date.
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) by appointment start date.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or multistate license by start date.
- Clinical expertise in one or more content areas listed above.
- For simulation positions: CHSE certification or INACSL training by appointment start date.
- Preference for prelicensure nursing education expertise and for specialty certification, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate prelicensure nursing courses across didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.
- Develop and evaluate curriculum aligned with AACN Essentials and NCLEX-RN plan.
- Advise and mentor students; participate in school, college, and university service.
- Engage with global student populations and diverse learning environments.
