The role requires a bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications and at least 3 years of TV anchoring/reporting experience, with knowledge of ENG and non-linear editing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Journalism or related degree required (equivalent years of experience may substitute for education).
• Three (3) years television anchoring or reporting experience required.
• Knowledge of OBS and VMIX is preferred.
• Electronic News Gathering (ENG) experience required.
• Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation.
• Strong reporting skills and ability to work with social media.
• Promotes teamwork and cooperation with station personnel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary presenter of news stories and content across platforms.
• Produce, report, shoot, write, voice, edit and feed news content for TV, web, and mobile.
• Create OBS style newscasts and arrange interviews, video shots, and non-linear editing.
• Develop daily story ideas with management and enterprise news stories.
• Build a network of sources to stay ahead of competition.
• Write web and eMedia stories and handle special projects.
