Job summary

NAB Leadership Foundation in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Multimedia Journalist Reporter to produce, report, shoot, write, voice, edit and feed news content for all platforms in a clear, engaging and meaningful way for news consumers.

You will report stories for broadcast, arrange interviews, review copy, verify facts, meet deadlines, and interact with viewers on social media; a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism or related field and at least two years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English and strong written/spoken communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Reports news stories for broadcast, describing background and details of events.
• Arranges interviews with people who can provide information about stories.
• Reviews copy and corrects errors in content, grammar and punctuation per editorial style.
• Determines a story's emphasis, length and format, and organizes material accordingly.
• Shoots and edits news events and reports; produces and presents for all platforms.
• Interacts with viewers on social media and writes stories for the web.
