The role requires 3–5 years of on‑air anchoring, a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, and strong news judgment. You will collaborate with a seasoned team in a fast-paced studio environment at Bethesda’s state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of on‑air anchoring and reporting in a top 20 major market or comparable market.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field required.
• Superior news judgment and understanding of local, national, and world events.

Responsibilities

• Anchor multiple newscast blocks with a high‑energy performance.
• Research, write, and report compelling stories across multiple platforms.
• Conduct live interviews and manage source development under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, and photographers for accurate news delivery.
